Johannes Weber is a amateur photographer that specializes in landscape, nature and racing photography, and keen to discover new ways of representing moments through photography.
Started some years ago with his father’s small compact camera the fascination of taking pictures and capturing a moment forever became intense very rapidly. Using a DSLR opened new possibilities regarding composition by using the narrow field of depth. Fast moving objects became more easy to capture and the interchangeable lens system kept track with the style development.
Getting inspired by the outstanding work of famous photographer Trey Ratcliff HDR became a big part in Johannes‘ way of capturing beautiful German landscapes. The ability to reproduce the light as seen on scene produced much more satisfying results. Instead of using HDR as some kind of effect it´s just a tool to create more realistic images.
Started with Canon into photography Johannes is now using Fujifilm mirrorless gear taking benefit of the lightweight equiptment and outstanding imaging sensor performance of Fujifilm cameras.
